India Startup Funding Drops 44% Week-over-Week

Last week, Indian startups raised less money compared to the previous weeks.

They got $186.1 million from 13 deals, which is a big drop from the $334.8 million raised the week before.

The largest deal was by Veriqus Group, a wealthtech firm from Mumbai, which raised $40.1 million.

Other notable fundraisers include BusinessNext, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group, Neo Group, Plazza, and Ekkaa.

While early-stage funding increased, late-stage funding saw a significant decline, indicating a slowdown in the startup ecosystem.
