From Mechanical Engineering to IFS: Sidharth Babu's AIR 15 Journey

Sidharth Babu studied mechanical engineering and worked in the private sector.

He later became interested in international relations and decided to take the Civil Services Examination.

He did not pass on his first try.

On his next attempt, he earned All India Rank 15.

He chose the Indian Foreign Service, which involves representing India and supporting diplomatic work.

He worked in Beijing from 2018 to 2022 and learned Chinese.

He has also worked in California and studied language interpretation and translation.
