Tiger Killed on Dangerous Railway Track
A big, strong tiger was sadly killed when a fast train hit it on a railway track in Madhya Pradesh, India.
This track is called a 'death track' because many animals, like tigers and leopards, have been hit by trains there.
In the past year, nine tigers and ten leopards have died on this same track.
The forest officials have asked the train people to slow down the trains, blow horns, and build special paths for animals to cross safely.
But some of these safety ideas have not been followed, which is why more animals are getting hurt.
The track goes through a special place called the Ratapani Tiger Reserve, where many wild animals live.
The officials want to build underpasses and overpasses to keep the animals safe, but these big changes take time.
Meanwhile, in another part of India, tigers have been spotted near coal mines, and workers have been asked to stay alert and move in groups to avoid any dangerous encounters with these wild animals.
An adult male tiger was killed by a train on the Budni-Midghat railway line in Madhya Pradesh.
This is the ninth tiger death on this 'death track' in the past year, with ten leopards also killed.
The railway track has curves and is a known danger zone for wild animals, especially at night.
Forest officials have recommended short-term measures like limiting train speed to 60 km/h and building net walls.
Long-term solutions include constructing underpasses and overpasses for safe animal crossings.
