Monsoon Drives Indian Singles Toward Deeper Connections in India

Monsoon Drives Indian Singles Toward Deeper Connections in India

A dating app called happn asked almost 2,500 single people in India how the rainy season changes their dating habits.

Most of them said they miss having a special someone when it rains.

The rain makes people stay longer together, talk more, and think about whether they really like each other.

About half of the people said that being stuck in traffic or under an umbrella helped them feel closer to someone they were seeing casually.

The most common places to meet on a rainy day were cafés and private homes, and some even met at work.

Most people didn’t mind getting a little messy from the rain, and many liked the look of someone who just came in from the rain.

The survey shows that the monsoon might be turning into a time when people start serious relationships more easily.
