I’m Game Review: Fantasy Gamble Nearly Pays Off
I’m Game is about Dan John, a rich man who loses money by gambling.
He wants to prove to his father that he is not a failure.
After a dangerous accident, Dan receives a hand transplant.
He then discovers that the new hand can move by itself.
The hand belongs to someone who wants revenge for being killed.
This creates a strange and dangerous problem for Dan.
The movie starts slowly and spends a lot of time showing Dan’s luxurious life.
It becomes more interesting when cricketer Vicky’s story receives greater attention.
The review says the action, music and final part work well, but the movie has uneven acting and storytelling.
Nahas Hidhayath’s fantasy action thriller follows spoiled gambler Dan John, played by Dulquer Salmaan.
After an accident and hand transplant, Dan discovers the hand can act independently and seeks revenge.
The film’s lavish opening and early comedy are criticized for feeling disconnected from the stronger later drama.
Antony Varghese Pepe’s Vicky storyline provides the film’s emotional anchor and helps build momentum toward the climax.
The review praises the action choreography, car chases, music and production design, but gives the film 2.5 stars.
