Adityanath Says Uttar Pradesh Has Become India’s Growth Engine
Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh is becoming an important part of India’s economy.
He said the state is no longer a “BIMARU” state, a term used for economically lagging states.
The government says it has helped create 96 lakh small businesses in Uttar Pradesh.
It also says more than six lakh artisans received training and toolkits.
Artisans can receive 10 days of free training, ₹5,000 and tools worth up to ₹15,000.
They can also apply for loans without interest or collateral.
The government wants artisans to become business owners instead of only workers.
Adityanath said a trade show in Greater Noida will help connect businesses with markets.
