Demand to Allocate Funds for Revival of Adilabad CCI Unit
Some important grown-ups in a town called Adilabad want to bring back an old cement factory.
The factory used to make cement and was run by a big government company called the Cement Corporation of India.
It closed down, so many people lost the chance to work there.
The grown-ups held a big meeting called 'Vidyarthi Yuvatha Poru Garjana' and asked governments for money to fix it.
They think fixing the factory needs money from both the state and national governments, plus a loan from a bank.
If the factory opens again, it can give jobs to young people who really need them.
It can also help the town's shops and businesses earn more money.
One leader said some politicians are not helping with this plan.
He also remembered that a minister once promised help if people voted for a certain party.
The people hope the factory will open again so everyone can have jobs.
Leaders and academicians demanded that the state and Central governments allocate funds to revive the closed Adilabad unit of the Cement Corporation of India (CCI).
The CCI Sadhana Samiti organised a 'Vidyarthi Yuvatha Poru Garjana' meeting in Adilabad town on Wednesday to demand the factory's revival.
Speakers said the factory could be revived with ₹250 crore each from the state and Central governments and a bank loan of ₹1,500 crore.
They said revival would provide employment to unemployed youth, boost the local economy, and generate indirect employment for thousands of people.
Former minister Jogu Ramanna alleged MP Godam Nagesh and MLA Payal Shankar were neglecting the issue, recalling Amit Shah's 2018 promise to revive the factory if BJP candidates were elected.
