Meta’s Muse Outpaces ChatGPT in First 12 Days
Meta made an artificial-intelligence app called Muse.
A research company estimated that Muse grew faster than ChatGPT did when ChatGPT first launched on phones.
In the United States and Canada, Muse had 1.8 million iPhone downloads in 12 days.
ChatGPT had 1.3 million iPhone downloads in the same comparison.
Muse also had 2.8 million installs around the world.
More people used Muse each day during this early period than used ChatGPT during its comparable period.
Muse is available in fewer countries, so the comparison used matching iPhone data from the United States and Canada.
Muse may be helped because it can connect with Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
However, the figures are estimates and the two apps did not launch under exactly the same conditions.
