Mumbai FDA Suspends Hotel Licence After Alleged Rat Found

A customer said a dead rat was found inside a dosa at Radhakrishna Hotel in Mumbai.

The customer’s brother had already eaten several bites before noticing it.

He reportedly vomited after seeing the object.

The complaint was first taken to the Borivali Police Station.

Police sent it to the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration.

FDA inspectors then found several hygiene problems at the hotel.

These included flies, food kept on the floor, poor storage and clogged sewage.

The FDA suspended the hotel’s licence while action is taken.
