Bhopal's Green Upgrade: 183 Parks, Rotaries to be Revamped via CSR
The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has a big plan to make Bhopal, also known as the City of Lakes, more green and eco-friendly.
They want to improve 200 public spaces like parks and traffic circles.
Companies, schools, and even regular people can help by adopting these spaces and making them better.
They have to use things like solar lights and systems to save rainwater.
The people who adopt these spaces have to take care of them for at least three years.
There won't be any ads, just a small sign to say who helped.
The goal is to make Bhopal cleaner and more beautiful for everyone.
Bhopal Municipal Corporation plans to upgrade 200 public spaces, including 183 parks and roundabouts, through CSR initiatives.
Companies, NGOs, and citizens can adopt and rejuvenate these spaces with modern landscaping, solar lighting, and rainwater harvesting.
Participating organizations must maintain the adopted sites for at least three years with no commercial advertising allowed.
Pre-submission meeting is scheduled for February 12, proposal evaluation on March 5, and final notification on March 12.
The initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability and foster a sense of civic responsibility among citizens.
