Mixed Q3 Results for Dairy Giants
Two big dairy companies in India, Heritage Foods and Nestle India, had very different results for the last three months of 2025.
Heritage Foods made less money than last year because it cost them more to buy milk and other things they need.
They sold more products, but the higher costs made their profits go down.
On the other hand, Nestle India made a lot more money.
They sold more products than ever in five years, and their sales went up by 18.5%.
They also did well in both cities and rural areas.
Nestle India is planning to keep growing by investing more in their products and making them better for customers.
Heritage Foods is also trying to grow by making more ice cream and flavored milk.
Both companies are dealing with higher costs for milk and other ingredients, but Nestle India seems to be handling it better.
Heritage Foods' net profit declined to ₹34.50 crore in Q3 2025 from ₹43 crore in Q3 2024 due to rising procurement costs.
Nestle India's net profit surged by 45.12% to ₹998.42 crore in Q3 2025, driven by the strongest volume growth in five years.
Heritage Foods' revenue increased to ₹1,126.91 crore in Q3 2025 from ₹1,042 crore in Q3 2024.
Nestle India's total sales grew by 18.5% to ₹5,643.5 crore, with domestic sales up by 18.3%.
Both companies are facing higher costs for milk and other commodities, with Heritage Foods planning to expand ice cream and flavored milk capacities.
