SpiceJet Ordered to Pay Rs 2 Lakh for Lost Gold Jewellery
Imagine you checked a bag with expensive things, but the airline lost it.
That happened to someone with gold jewellery.
The airline offered little money, but the person complained.
After a long legal battle, the court agreed the airline should pay much more because they didn't prove the rules about what you can pack were clear.
The court said the airline failed in their job to safely handle the luggage.
So, the airline has to pay a lot of money to make up for losing the bag.
SpiceJet ordered to pay passenger Rs 2 lakh for losing bag.
The lost bag contained gold jewellery and other valuables.
Incident occurred in 2013 after a flight from Kathmandu to Delhi.
