England Leave Brydon Carse Out Of Sri Lanka Tour
England chose not to select cricket player Brydon Carse for its tour of Sri Lanka.
The tour includes one-day and T20 matches.
This happened after Carse was seen being taken from a nightclub in handcuffs.
He had been celebrating with teammates after a cricket match.
Reports say he was only held briefly and then released.
An independent cricket investigation is still examining what happened.
England says the decision is meant to give Carse time to deal with the situation, not to decide that he is guilty.
Carse has also faced discipline before for betting on cricket matches.
England omitted Brydon Carse from its ODI and T20I squads for Sri Lanka.
The decision followed footage showing Carse being led away in handcuffs from a Derby nightclub.
Carse was briefly apprehended and released, with an independent investigation still ongoing.
The ECB said Carse should work through the issues and have a proper reset.
Carse previously served a three-month ban in 2024 for placing 303 cricket bets.
