Rishabh Pant’s Audacity Lifts India in Colombo Second Test

Rishabh Pant batted for India while his left forearm was strapped because of an injury.

Sri Lanka’s bowlers tried to make him uncomfortable by bowling short balls at his body.

Pant avoided some deliveries and was hit by others, but he kept playing.

He scored 63 runs using bold shots such as hooks, pulls and sweeps.

He also attacked the spinners by moving around the crease and stepping down the pitch.

Pant and Dhruv Jurel added 112 runs together.

Pant was eventually caught after lunch while trying another big shot.

His brave innings helped India take control of the match.
