Over 3,100 Nashik Students Create Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idols

More than 3,100 students in Nashik joined a special workshop.

They learned how to make Ganesh idols from shadu soil.

Shadu soil is described as an environmentally friendly material.

The workshop took place at the College of Engineering premises.

Many students came from both cities and villages.

Most planned to use the idols they made at home.

Organisers said the activity helps protect the environment.

They also said it helps children preserve culture and traditions.
