Nashik: 16 Unauthorised Schools Receive Show-Cause Notices After Investigation
The government in Nashik found 16 schools that were teaching kids without permission.
These schools were running classes for grades 1 to 12 but didn’t have the official green light.
The education department sent notices to the schools and told parents to check if a school is approved before sending their children.
They warned that unapproved schools could hurt students’ future chances.
The department will take more action against the schools that keep operating illegally.
Primary Education Department issued show‑cause notices to 16 schools operating without state approval.
The schools were found in Nashik, Deola, and Baglan talukas, admitting students for grades 1–7, 5–8, and 8–12.
Parents were warned to verify a school’s recognition status before enrolling children to avoid jeopardising academic futures.
Sailata Samleti, Primary Education Officer, urged parents to transfer children to authorised schools as a precaution.
The department plans further action against the unauthorised institutions.
