Jaishankar Visits France, Luxembourg for Diplomatic Talks
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is going on a trip to France and Luxembourg from January 4 to 9, 2026.
In France, he will meet important leaders and speak at a big meeting of French ambassadors.
He will talk about important things with his French counterpart, Jean Noel Barrot.
After France, he will go to Luxembourg to meet their leaders and talk to Indian people living there.
This trip is important because India and France are good friends and work together on many things.
Jaishankar has also been to other countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Israel recently for similar talks.
During his visit, they will also discuss global concerns, including the recent US military operation in Venezuela.
S. Jaishankar will visit France and Luxembourg from January 4-9, 2026 for diplomatic engagements.
In France, he will meet French leadership and discuss the India-France Strategic Partnership with counterpart Jean Noel Barrot.
Jaishankar will address the 31st French Ambassador’s Conference as the Guest of Honour.
In Luxembourg, he will meet Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and interact with the Indian community.
This visit follows PM Modi's February 2025 trip to France and recent visits to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Israel.
