Trump Hails Saudi-Turkiye-Pakistan Defence Pact as 'Big, Bold' Step

Three countries — Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan — signed a special agreement to help protect each other.

The agreement says that if one of the three countries is attacked, the other two will treat it like an attack on themselves too.

The leaders of the three countries signed the agreement in the city of Makkah.

The American president, Donald Trump, said he was very happy about the agreement.

He called it a 'big, bold and important first step.'

The leader of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, thanked Trump for his kind words.

Sharif said Pakistan will work to keep its own country and the whole region safe.

Another country, India, is watching the agreement closely.

India said it is checking how the agreement might affect its own safety and peace in the region.

The agreement is meant to help the three countries defend themselves in a stronger way.
