Aashima Ahlawat Celebrates Asian Games Trap Team Silver

Aashima Ahlawat and her two Indian teammates won a silver medal in shooting.

They competed in the women’s trap team event at the Asian Games.

China won gold, and Kuwait won bronze.

Rain made the competition difficult for many teams.

Aashima said the Indian shooters were prepared because they often train and compete in rainy weather.

India scored 328 points and finished second.

Aashima said winning an Asian Games medal had been her dream since she began shooting.

She plans to celebrate the medal with her family and friends and dedicate it to her mother.
