Zubeen Garg, a famous singer, died in Singapore during a yacht trip.
The festival organizer, Shyamkanu Mahanta, is asking the Supreme Court to have a central agency like the CBI or NIA investigate the death.
He also wants protection from arrest and wants the case moved out of Assam.
