Pune traffic restricted on key roads for Tiranga rally

Pune traffic restricted on key roads for Tiranga rally

A big special event is happening in a city called Pune in India.

It is a rally, which means many people walk or drive together to celebrate something.

The rally is part of a campaign called 'Har Ghar Tiranga', which is about the Indian national flag.

Because so many people will take part, the police are keeping some roads clear for them.

This means cars and buses cannot use those roads for a little while.

The restrictions start at 2 pm on Tuesday and stay until the rally is finished.

People driving in the city are given different routes to use instead.

The police chief in charge of traffic made this rule so everyone stays safe.

Once the rally is over, the roads will open again for normal traffic.
