Congress Blames PM Modi, Bihar CM for Special Status Delay
The Congress party is upset because Bihar hasn't gotten special status, which would bring extra money.
They blame Prime Minister Modi and Bihar's Chief Minister, saying they're responsible because they haven't acted in the past.
A Congress spokesperson, Supriya Shrinate, spoke about a program called 'Mai Bahin Samman Yojana' that gives money to women, similar to one announced by another party.
The Congress says their promises are reliable, unlike the BJP, which they accuse of changing their mind on such schemes in different states.
The Congress party wants to help women through their program by giving them monthly financial help, especially after seeing survey results on the low income in Bihar.
Congress spokesperson held PM Modi and Bihar CM accountable for the state's failure to receive special category status.
The remarks were made ahead of PM Modi's visit to Patna.
Supriya Shrinate discussed the party's 'Mai Bahin Samman Yojana', which promises monthly financial aid to women.
The scheme mirrors a similar one announced earlier by RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
Shrinate contrasted Congress's consistent promises with the BJP's alleged changes to similar schemes in other states.
