Rajesh Tailang Recalls Cut Scenes and Decade-Long Career Struggle

Rajesh Tailang is an actor known for shows such as Mirzapur and Delhi Crime.

He began acting in the television series Shanti in 1994.

He said more than 300 of his scenes appeared in the show.

After Shanti ended, he found it difficult to get the film roles he wanted.

Some of his scenes in Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa and Lakshya were later removed.

The directors and producers explained why those cuts were necessary.

Tailang moved from Mumbai to Delhi and taught at the National School of Drama.

His career received more attention after he led the film Siddharth in 2013.
