CJP Challenges Rajasthan Government to Showcase Ten Schools
Ashutosh Ranka of the Cockroach Janta Party challenged Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar.
He asked the minister to show ten of the best schools built during his time in office.
Ranka said his team would visit those schools after he returned from Bengal.
His group has also been inspecting government schools with damaged or poor infrastructure.
Ranka said these inspections would continue even if police filed cases or arrested members.
The dispute came after a government circular limited outside visitors from entering government schools.
The circular mentioned student privacy and child-protection rules.
It also referred to constitutional protections and a Supreme Court privacy judgment.
Ranka and the government therefore have different positions on access to schools and inspections.
CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka challenged Education Minister Madan Dilawar to identify ten of Rajasthan’s finest schools built during his tenure.
Ranka said he and his team would visit the selected schools after returning to Jaipur from Bengal.
The challenge followed CJP inspections of dilapidated government-school infrastructure across Rajasthan.
Ranka said the inspections would continue despite possible police cases or arrests until the schools were fixed.
