Kapil Sharma Was Initially Rejected in Auditions, Reveals Chandan Prabhakar
A long time ago, before they were famous, three friends wanted to be comedians.
Their names were Kapil, Chandan, and Rajeev.
They all tried out for a funny TV competition called The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
Chandan and Rajeev were picked for the show, but Kapil was not.
They were upset because they knew Kapil was very talented.
Kapil tried out again in a city called Delhi.
Even after that audition, he did not get a call at first.
Chandan and Rajeev kept telling the show's makers that they were making a mistake.
Finally, the makers called Kapil to join the show.
But then they told Chandan to go home because Kapil had arrived.
Chandan later became a famous comedian too, working with Kapil on other popular TV shows.
Chandan Prabhakar revealed that Kapil Sharma was initially rejected during auditions for The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
Chandan and Rajeev Thakur were selected for the show, while Kapil Sharma did not make the initial cut.
Kapil auditioned again in Delhi after being rejected in the Punjab auditions, convincing Chandan to accompany him.
Chandan and Rajeev repeatedly urged the production team to call Kapil, and he was eventually brought onto the show.
Kapil's entry meant Chandan was sent home, and Chandan briefly returned to engineering before later finding fame with Kapil.
