Marlo Miazga Launches M Media With Personal CBC Documentary
Marlo Miazga is starting a new company called M Media.
The company will make television shows, films and other media.
Its first project is a documentary called Ground Control.
The film tells the personal story of Miazga losing her 14-year-old child, Mars, to suicide in 2020.
CBC has agreed to support and broadcast the project.
Filming is expected to begin in October.
The documentary is planned for release around spring 2027, after Miazga’s related memoir is published.
The film will also be shown in Canadian theaters.
