Australia's T20 World Cup Squad Faces Injury Concerns

Australia's T20 World Cup Squad Faces Injury Concerns

Australia is preparing for the T20 World Cup in 2026, but some of their important players are injured.

Pat Cummins, who is the captain of Australia's Test and ODI teams, might be included in the squad, but he has not played a T20 match in over 18 months due to injuries.

Tim David, another key player, has a hamstring injury and will miss the rest of the Big Bash League, but he could still be ready for the World Cup.

Josh Hazlewood is also recovering from an injury.

Australia will play their group matches against Ireland, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, and Oman in Sri Lanka.

The team hopes that these players will recover in time to help them win the tournament.
