Mumbai Coastal Gardens Plan Triggers Traffic Fears in Breach Candy

Mumbai Coastal Gardens Plan Triggers Traffic Fears in Breach Candy

In Mumbai, a big city in India, the city wants to build a huge garden next to the sea, called the Mumbai Coastal Gardens.

A big company called Reliance made a plan to help build it.

This plan includes three doors, called entrances and exits, near a neighborhood named Breach Candy.

People who live there are worried that these doors will make the streets even more crowded with cars.

There is not enough parking, and some streets are already very busy.

So, many families in the area are asking the city to build an extra exit at Napeansea Road.

They got help from people in 145 buildings, which is about 40,000 residents.

The city says it has not decided yet and that some of the land belongs to another group.

The residents say they will keep asking until the city listens.
