Odisha CM Appears in Mythological Court at Dhanu Yatra
The Dhanu Yatra is a big festival in Bargarh, Odisha, where people act out stories from Hindu mythology.
For 11 days, the town becomes Mathura, and the character Kansa, a king from the stories, is in charge.
Even the real chief minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, went to Kansa's court on an elephant to talk about the projects his government is doing for the district.
He told Kansa about the money being spent on new projects, help for women, and plans to make the festival even bigger.
The festival ends with the story of Krishna defeating Kansa, showing that good wins over evil.
Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi appeared before Kansa's court during Dhanu Yatra in Bargarh.
The festival transforms Bargarh into Mathura, enacting Lord Krishna's life over 11 days.
Majhi presented a report card outlining 123 projects worth ₹1,362 crore for Bargarh district.
He announced welfare measures like the Subhadra Yojana, giving ₹10,000 annually to women.
