Hyderabad Police Uses Rakhi for Road Safety on Raksha Bandhan
On Raksha Bandhan, the Rachakonda traffic police in Hyderabad gave a special treat to those riding two-wheelers.
Instead of getting in trouble for not wearing a helmet, they got a rakhi tied to their hand.
The police wanted to remind everyone that their lives are important and that wearing a helmet, like a rakhi, can save them.
The event used the spirit of the holiday to promote safe riding practices in a positive way.
