Mohanlal Set to Make Cameo in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan

Filmmaker Priyadarshan is making a Hindi movie called Haiwaan.

It is based on his Malayalam thriller Oppam.

Saif Ali Khan plays a visually impaired martial artist in the new film.

Akshay Kumar plays the killer who threatens a young girl.

Mohanlal, who starred in Oppam, will appear in Haiwaan for a short cameo.

Priyadarshan said Mohanlal was surprised by the request but agreed after hearing the idea.

Priyadarshan also told Saif Ali Khan not to copy Mohanlal’s earlier performance.

The filmmaker and Mohanlal have worked together for more than four decades.

Their next major project will be Priyadarshan’s 100th film, a musical about Carnatic singers.
