Tigress Jayashree Delivers Triplets, Only One Cub Survives
A tigress named Jayashree had three baby cubs at a zoo in Bhubaneswar.
Unfortunately, only one cub is still alive.
The first cub was moved to a special care unit because Jayashree didn't take care of it.
The second cub got hurt by accident and didn't survive.
The third cub was eaten by Jayashree right after it was born.
The surviving cub is now being closely watched by veterinarians.
The zoo has 29 tigers now, but the new cubs won't be counted until they are older.
Tigress Jayashree delivered three cubs at Nandankanan Zoological Park, Bhubaneswar.
Only one cub survived due to Jayashree's lack of maternal instinct.
The first cub was moved to the Neonatal Care Unit for veterinary observation.
The second cub died from injuries after being accidentally rolled over by Jayashree.
The third cub was consumed by Jayashree shortly after birth.
