Tripura Revises 'Lakhpati Didi' Target Upwards to 1.35 Lakh for 2025-26
Imagine a program in Tripura, India, that helps women in villages earn more money.
These women are part of small groups that help each other.
The goal is to help them earn over 1 lakh rupees every year, making them 'Lakhpati Didis'.
They have already helped over 1 lakh women achieve this!
Now, they want to help even more, setting a new goal to reach 1.35 lakh 'Lakhpati Didis'.
The Chief Minister even gave 100 crore rupees to 100,000 of these women to help them with their work.
The district with the most 'Lakhpati Didis' is South Tripura.
This program is helping poor families in the countryside earn more money and improve their lives.
