CPI Leader Recalls 85-Year-Old Amir’s Lifelong Party Commitment

Dr. K. Narayana spoke about an 85-year-old party worker named K. Amir.

He met Amir at a CPI meeting in Delhi on September 1.

Amir has supported the CPI since 1960.

Amir said he stayed because the party spoke for poor workers like him.

He paid for his own trip to Delhi.

He also gave whatever money he could to the party.

Narayana said Amir did not seek power or personal benefit.

He said people like Amir inspire the fight for a fairer and more equal society.
