Four Delhi districts complete 100% SIR form distribution
Four areas in Delhi have finished giving out special forms to every voter.
These forms are used to update the list of people who can vote.
Almost all voters in Delhi have received these forms, and many have been turned into digital records.
The people in charge of this task, like teachers and government workers, are now focusing on uploading these forms using a special app.
They have more time to do this because the deadlines have been extended.
Some workers find it challenging to learn the app and deal with technical problems, but they are working hard to finish the job accurately and on time.
Four districts in Delhi have completed 100% distribution of enumeration forms for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Overall, 99.55% of Delhi's 1.45 crore electors have received forms, with 18% of them digitised.
The deadline for house-to-house visits by booth-level officers (BLOs) has been extended to August 8.
The draft electoral rolls will be published on August 17, and the final rolls on October 19.
BLOs are facing challenges in digitising forms, including learning the app and dealing with technical issues.
