NASA, ISRO to Launch Earth Observation Satellite in July
Imagine a special eye in space made by NASA and India!
This eye is called NISAR, and it's going to watch Earth using a special radar that can see through clouds and even at night.
This radar is like two working together, sending signals and listening to the echoes to make super-detailed pictures of our planet.
It'll help us study floods, melting ice, how the land is changing, and other important things.
The satellite cost $1.5 billion and will share its images with scientists everywhere!
NASA and ISRO will launch the NISAR satellite from India in July.
The $1.5 billion satellite will monitor Earth's surface with dual-frequency radar.
NISAR will use L-band and S-band radar to create high-resolution images, even through clouds.
The satellite's data will be freely available to scientists and agencies.
NISAR will aid in tracking natural disasters, climate research, and coastal erosion.
