Border 2 Nears Rs 200 Crore
Border 2 is a new movie about war that many people are watching.
It stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
The movie is very popular and has made a lot of money at the box office, nearing Rs 200 crore in just five days.
It came out on Republic Day and had a great start.
The movie made Rs 59 crore on Monday, which was its highest single-day collection.
The director, Anurag Singh, made a good war story that people enjoy.
The movie didn't have any big competitors in theaters over the weekend, so more people could watch it.
It's on its way to becoming one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
The movie is a sequel to the 1997 hit Border and has sparked interest in a third installment, Border 3.
Varun Dhawan's performance has been praised, but he also faced some trolling over his one-sided smile, which went viral.
Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan defended Varun, calling his performance sincere and solid.
Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, has neared Rs 200 crore in five days, with Rs 196.50 crore collected domestically.
The film had a strong opening weekend, collecting Rs 121 crore from Friday to Sunday, and made Rs 59 crore on Monday, its highest single-day collection, benefiting from the Republic Day holiday.
On its fifth day, Tuesday, the film collected Rs 19.5 crore, showing a significant dip but still maintaining a strong position.
Border 2 has surpassed the opening weekend collections of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar but fell short of some other records.
