Turkiye Denies Indian Media Reports on Radicalization and Terror Support
Some news reports in India claimed that Turkiye is involved in activities to spread extreme ideas and help terrorist groups in India.
Turkiye is saying these reports are completely false and not true.
They believe these stories are being spread on purpose to harm the good relationship between the two countries.
This statement comes after an investigation into a recent explosion in Delhi found that some suspects had visited Turkiye.
Turkiye wants to make it clear that they do not support terrorism and that these media claims have no basis in fact.
Turkiye has strongly rejected media reports accusing it of engaging in radicalization activities and supporting terrorist groups in India.
The Turkish Directorate of Communications called these reports "purely disinformative" and part of a "malicious disinformation campaign."
These reports claimed Turkiye provides logistical, diplomatic, and financial support to terrorist groups operating in India.
Turkiye stated that these allegations lack any factual basis and are intended to damage bilateral relations.
The denial comes in the context of an investigation into a recent explosion in Delhi, where two suspects had traveled to Turkiye.
