HMDA Restores Building Permits After Court Order
A real estate company, Sri Aditya Kedia Realtors, got permission to build a large building near the Musi River.
Officials later canceled the permit because they built a wall too close to the river.
The company went to court, and the court ordered the government to let them build.
The government, HMDA, followed the court's order and gave the company permission again in June 2024, saying they followed all the rules.
HMDA restored building permissions to Sri Aditya Kedia Realtors in June 2024.
The restoration followed a High Court order in March 2024.
The original permission was for a 38-storey building near the Musi River.
HMDA had previously cancelled the permission due to a retaining wall encroachment.
The court's order was based on the removal of the wall.
