India's DengiAll Dengue Vaccine Could Arrive by 2027

India's DengiAll Dengue Vaccine Could Arrive by 2027

India is testing a new dengue vaccine called DengiAll.

Dengue is an illness spread by infected mosquitoes.

The vaccine is designed to protect against all four major types of dengue virus.

It was developed in India by Panacea Biotec.

The vaccine is given in one dose.

More than 13,000 volunteers are taking part in the final-stage trial.

Researchers are still checking whether the vaccine is safe and works well.

If the trial and government reviews are successful, people could be able to use it by 2027.

The vaccine would add to mosquito-control efforts, not replace them.
