Intel's Panther Lake CPUs Leak: Up to 16 Cores and New Xe3 Graphics
Intel is getting ready to release new computer chips for laptops, called Panther Lake.
These new chips will be much faster and better at graphics than the ones before.
The top model will have 16 cores, which are like small workers inside the chip, helping it do many things at once.
It will also have new graphics called Xe3, which will make games and drawing programs run smoother.
These chips will use a special new way of being made by Intel.
They will come in different power levels, with some using less power for everyday tasks and others using more power for really demanding jobs.
This means laptops with these chips will be better for gaming, work, and other demanding tasks.
Intel's upcoming Panther Lake mobile processors (Core Ultra 300 series) have been detailed in a leak.
The new chips are built on Intel's 18A manufacturing process and feature a hybrid architecture with up to 16 CPU cores.
The flagship Core Ultra X9 388H model is expected to have 4 P-cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power efficiency cores.
Integrated Xe3 graphics, with up to 12 GPU cores (Arc B390), are included for enhanced graphical performance.
TDP ratings range from 25W, with configurable options up to 65W or 80W for higher-performance models.
