Delhi Winter Plan Adds WFH, Vehicle and Construction Pollution Curbs

Delhi Winter Plan Adds WFH, Vehicle and Construction Pollution Curbs

Delhi has made a plan to reduce dirty air during winter.

Some government and private office workers may work from home two days each week.

Older polluting vehicles from outside Delhi will not be allowed to enter the city.

CNG and electric vehicles will be exempt from that restriction.

Construction that creates dust will be limited and then stopped during the worst period.

Parking will cost more at many authorized parking sites, but not at Metro parking facilities.

The government will add cleaning, inspections, buses and pollution-monitoring teams.

People can help by using public transport, avoiding waste burning and keeping their vehicles compliant.
