Documentary Explores 'Trainspotting' Author Irvine Welsh's Life
A new documentary about Irvine Welsh, the author of 'Trainspotting', is coming out.
The director, Paul Sng, wanted to make a film that explores Welsh's life in a deep way.
The film shows real-life footage, old clips, and actors reading from Welsh's books.
Sng's approach was inspired by filming Welsh's psychedelic DMT experience in Toronto.
The movie follows Welsh as he travels between Edinburgh, Miami, and other locations.
The film premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival.
