HBO Max Hires Acquisitions Execs for UK and Italy Launches
HBO Max is getting ready to launch in the UK and Italy, and they're hiring some important people to help.
They've picked Sasha Breslau, who used to be in charge of buying shows for ITV in the UK, to find good content for HBO Max.
In Italy, Alessandro Volpato, who works at Prime Video, will be in charge of finding shows.
These launches are a big deal because they'll bring HBO Max to these countries in early 2026, which means more people will be able to watch HBO's shows.
Both hires will help HBO Max build up its collection of shows, movies and other content that audiences in these countries can enjoy.
