Nepal PM Engages Madhes Parties Amid Communal Violence

In Nepal, a big fight started in a town called Sunsari on July 26.

Three people died and the government put curfews in nearby towns.

The Prime Minister, Balendra Shah, finally talked to local party leaders to try to stop the fighting.

He also told the President and Vice President what was happening.

Some people said the Prime Minister was too slow, but he said he was working to keep everyone safe.

Religious groups also asked people to stay calm and not start more fights.
