Three BKI-Linked Suspects Remanded After Chandigarh Explosives Seizure
Police in Chandigarh arrested three young men suspected of links to Babbar Khalsa International.
Officers said they found explosives, a detonator and equipment that could remotely trigger a device.
They also found a pistol, a magazine and five bullets.
Police believe the men may have been following instructions from a foreign-based handler.
Investigators suspect they planned to place an explosive device in Chandigarh.
The suspects deny no position in the reports, so the allegations have not been tested in court.
A judge gave police five days to question them and investigate the case.
The investigation is examining where the explosives came from and whether more people were involved.
