Akzo Nobel India Appoints Parth Jindal as Chairman
Akzo Nobel India, a company that makes paints, has a new chairman named Parth Jindal.
He is also the boss of JSW Paints and JSW Cements.
The company's board approved this change, but the shareholders still need to say yes.
Another person, Shantanu Maharaj Khosla, was also added to the board as an independent director.
Rajiv Rajgopal, who was the chairman before, will now be the Joint Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
This all happened because JSW Paints bought a big part of Akzo Nobel India last year.
Now, JSW Paints owns more than half of Akzo Nobel India.
Akzo Nobel India appoints Parth Jindal as Chairman, subject to shareholder approval.
Shantanu Maharaj Khosla appointed as Independent Director until January 8, 2029.
