13 Companies See $6 Billion Shares Free for Trade
Next week, 13 companies in India will have their shareholder lock-in periods end.
This means that shares worth about $6 billion will be allowed to be traded.
The biggest company in this list is HDB Financial Services, with shares worth around $4.6 billion becoming available.
Other companies include Ventive Hospitality, which has shares worth about $1.1 billion, and Allied Blenders & Distillers, with shares worth around $430 million.
The lock-in periods end on different days, with the last day being the busiest.
It's important to note that just because the shares can be traded doesn't mean they will be sold right away.
13 companies will see shares worth $6 billion free up for trade from December 29, 2025 to January 2, 2026.
HDB Financial Services has the largest share, with 481.5 million shares worth ₹37,000 crore becoming available on January 2.
Ventive Hospitality will have shares worth ₹8,791 crore free up for trade on December 29.
Allied Blenders & Distillers will see shares worth ₹3,500 crore become available on January 2.
The end of the lock-in period does not guarantee that all shares will be sold in the open market.
