Accenture Announces Promotions for 50,000 Employees Globally
Accenture, a big company that helps other companies, is promoting about 50,000 employees next month.
This comes after they delayed promotions because fewer companies needed their help.
The company, based in Dublin, employs many people all over the world.
Some employees will also get raises.
They are promoting so many people to boost morale.
They also cut about 19,000 jobs previously.
The company had problems with its government contracts too, because the government wanted to spend money more wisely.
This means less money for Accenture.
The company also dropped its diversity targets.
Accenture will promote nearly 50,000 employees globally next month.
The promotion follows a delay from December due to weak demand for consulting services.
Around 15,000 employees in India will be promoted, along with 11,000 in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and 10,000 in the Americas.
The company is facing uncertainty in the global economy and politics.
Accenture has reduced its workforce by about 19,000 jobs starting in 2023.
