Congress Rejects Bihar's SIR, May Consider Poll Boycott

Some politicians in Bihar are upset about how the government is checking the list of people who can vote.

They think the way they are doing it, called SIR, is wrong and might not be fair.

They are considering not participating in the upcoming elections to show they disagree.

The Congress party, part of a larger group, is also against this process and says it's like a trick to steal votes.

They want everyone in their group to decide together what to do, but they will keep speaking out against it.

They believe that the numbers the government is using are incorrect and the process is unfair.
